Archa - Unified Asset & Legacy Platform

How to transform the 300-hour "chore" of household inventory into an effortless act of family legacy

Archa is a research-validated platform that solves the Documentation Gap, the disparity between physical assets owned and the records required for insurance recovery. By utilizing Magic Lens AI Scanning, we reduced the documentation time for a standard home from weeks to minutes, while securing family history through a Dual-Mode UX that balances financial data with emotional storytelling.

The Discovery Phase: Market Analysis

I began by analyzing the structural transformation of the household asset market ($5.0B projected by 2035). My research identified three converging "Perfect Storm" factors: 1. Escalating Climate Risk: Demand for pre-emptive insurance documentation. 2. The Wealth Transfer: The need for clear digital directives for heirs. 3. Spatial Computing: The maturity of mobile LiDAR and AI object detection.

Validating with Real Data

To test my hypothesis that "Legacy" is a stronger long-term motivator than "Insurance," I built a custom Interactive Market Validation Tool. We collected a few high-fidelity research samples that confirmed: ● The Confidence Gap: Most users scored a 3.2/10 on claim readiness. ● The Legacy Hook: 72% of users with heirs prioritized "Story Recording" over "Price Tracking."

User Persona Deep-Dive: The "Legacy Guardian"

I defined our primary persona as Sarah Miller (The Sandwich Generation). Sarah is managing her own home while simultaneously cataloging her aging parents' estate. Her primary constraint isn't money, it's Time Poverty.

UX Foundations: Journey & Architecture

Before designing pixels, I mapped Sarah’s emotional journey from "Disaster Anxiety" to "Legacy Security." I then architected a layered Information Architecture that separates clinical financial data from sentimental narratives at the system level. ● The Journey: Identifying the "Aha! Moment" when AI identifies 10+ items in under a minute. ● The IA: Implementing a "Switch-Deck" data model where one asset holds two distinct mental layers.

Strategic Solution: The 3 Core USPs

Based on the validation data and architecture, I defined three Unique Selling Propositions that provide the product's competitive edge: 1. Magic Lens: Zero-friction room scanning. 2. The Switch-Deck Card: One asset, two views (Clinical vs. Sentimental). 3. Strategic Inheritance: Explicit heir-tagging to eliminate family conflict.

The Technical & GTM Blueprint

To ensure the project's feasibility and commercial success, I drafted a complete Product Requirements Document (PRD) and a Go-To-Market Strategy. ● Tech Stack: Hybrid Edge AI (YOLOv8) + Zero-Knowledge AES-256 Encryption + Blockchain Provenance. ● GTM Strategy: A B2B2C partnership model targeting insurance brokers and estate attorneys.

Results & Reflection

By bridging the gap between financial security and emotional continuity, Archa moves beyond a simple "utility" into a "life-management" category. What I Learned: ● Security is a UX feature: For high-net-worth users, "Zero-Knowledge" encryption is a more powerful selling point than AI features. ● Ergonomics Matter: Designing for the "Sandwich Generation" requires thumb-friendly bottom-up navigation to support multitasking users.
